Former host of the PGA Tour’s Texas Open, the Resort Course at La Cantera Resort & Spa was designed by noted golf course architect Jay Morrish and PGA professional Tom Weiskopf. Six holes have breathtaking views of San Antonio, Six Flags Fiesta Texas, and the scenic Texas Hill Country, the most notable being the par-4 7th which features a sheer 80 foot drop from the tee box down to the fairway. The Resort Course was a PGA Tour stop for 15 years, was named Golf Digest’s Best New Public Course of 1995, and is ranked amongst Golf Digest’s 2022 Best Courses You Can Play in Texas.
