A Robert Trent Jones, Sr. design from 1981, Ram Rock is the second of three courses he built at Horseshoe Bay Resort. Known as the “Challenger,” Ram Rock commonly hosts many of Texas’ top amateur events. With narrow fairways, dramatic elevation changes, and rolling Crenshaw Bentgrass greens, Ram Rock lives up to its nickname. The course traverses from the highest elevation at the resort down to a low lying creek bed and features a par-3 island green on the 4th hole.
